Summer 2026 with M’barka Amor

Exhibition: Prolongations at Institut des cultures d'Islam. Paris, 21 March – 26 July 2026

Prolongations brings together M’barka Amor, Ouassila Arras and Dalila Dalléas Bouzar within a shared creative space. Conceived by the artists, the exhibition itinerary was developed in collaboration with Horya Makhlouf, curator of special projects at the Palais de Tokyo and art critic.

Exhibition: Les Voix se lèvent, at Cité internationale des arts. Paris, 16 April – 11 July 2026

The artists featured in this exhibition ground their practices in unique social and geographical contexts. Hailing from different generations and continents, half of them have been artists-in-residence at the Cité internationale des arts. Through sound installations, paintings, projections and performances, they invite us to explore the voice in all its forms: breathing, shouting, whispering, singing and reciting poetry.

The exhibition is curated by Nataša Petrešin-Bachelez and Zdenka Badovinac.

Exhibition: Festivement vôtre, at La Halle Centre for Contemporary Art. Pont-en-Royans, 23 May – 5 September 2026

To mark La Halle’s 40th anniversary, the centre is launching a series that explores celebration as a multifaceted space: at once a moment of shared joy, social release and the assertion of freedom. Whilst celebration is first and foremost a joyful, playful interlude, it is also a space for expression, a place where bodies are set free, where norms are challenged, and where music and dance become languages of emancipation.

The exhibition is curated by Giulia Turati, director of the art centre.

Cross-residency, Tunis / Clichy-sous-Bois. Transmissions Manquantes. Mediterranean Season, 18 May – 10 October 2026

Initiated by the Ateliers Médicis, the programme brings together four artists: Dorothée-Myriam Kellou, Lynn S.K, M’Barka Amor and Ferielle Doulain-Zouari to explore the missing links in transmission between generations and territories. The residencies will take place in Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil, with links to Algiers and Tunis, exploring the intersections of memory, heritage and contemporary creation, resulting in artworks, educational activities and a temporary installation.

Bourse Cnap x Dos Mares Dispositif Rebond 2026

Since January 2026, alongside 22 other artists from France, I have been part of the CNAP x Dos Mares artist support programme. Organised by the Centre national des arts plastiques, this long-term programme combines personalised support, group discussions, expert advice and networking opportunities to strengthen the structure and sustainability of the artists’ practice.

Throughout the year, monthly working sessions take place at various art centres, institutions and art venues in Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Metz, Montpellier, Paris and Rennes.
